Terms and Conditions
By purchasing one or more sessions per week, or one to one session or sessions per week with Maritza Laing at Maritza Pilates you are agreeing to the following Terms and Conditions.
Payment for sessions is to be made by regular monthly bank transfer, or regular block booking payments, at least 48 hours in advance of the first session of each block. Account details will be supplied.
Monthly regular payments
Once the first payment has been processed you will be able to book your regular session or sessions each week. You may stop your regular payment at any time. Sessions will cease one month after your last payment. All payments are non-refundable.
In the event that clients are not able to attend for the purpose of holidays, a minimum of 7 days advance notice must be provided. In the event that clients are unable to attend their regular studio sessions for any other reason, 24 hours’ notice is required. This can be either by text to 07931965862 or by email to info@maritza-pilates-studio.co.uk. Provided the correct notice has been given, alternative sessions will be offered, subject to availability. No refunds will be provided.
The studio will be open 48 weeks each year. The above payments cover 48 weeks of training sessions. (Further details below). Should the studio remain open for more than 48 weeks during the year, the extra sessions will be included in the above payments.
Block bookings
Once your first payment has been processed you will be able to book your regular session or sessions each week throughout the time period covered by the block booking. Please ensure payments for subsequent periods are processed before the current period expires or you may forfeit your regular time or times.
In the event that clients are not able to attend for the purpose of holidays, a minimum of 7 days advance notice must be provided. In the event that clients are unable to attend their regular studio sessions for any other reason, 24 hours’ notice is required. This can be either by text to 07931965862 or by email to info@maritza-pilates-studio.co.uk. Provided the correct notice has been given, alternative sessions will be offered, subject to availability, within the time period the client has paid for. In the event that is not practical, alternative sessions will be offered during the following period provided the client has booked and paid for that period prior to the end of the current period. The current period cannot be extended. No refunds will be provided.
In the event that the studio is closed for any reason, including Xmas and New Year Holidays, the Block Booking periods will be extended by the same number of days that the studio is closed. The studio will be open 48 weeks each year. (Further details below).
Covid Protocol
Please try to arrive promptly. If clients arrive early, clients should remain in the waiting area, until the previous sessions clients have left the studio. Face masks should be worn.
Clients are expected to sanitize their hands upon arrival.
Clients are expected to sign the visitors’ book upon arrival.
All sessions are of a 50 minute duration. This is followed by a 10 minute period during which clients are required to sanitize the equipment used.
When the session has ended, having disinfected equipment, clients are expected to leave the studio promptly. If clients have any queries would they kindly refrain from raising them in the studio, either during or after the session. Please communicate them by phone or email if possible.
Opening times
The studio is open a minimum of 48 weeks a year. It is likely to be closed during the Xmas and New Year period and on occasion during the year, usually for a period of one week. Periods of closure will normally be advised, where practical, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, but normally at least 2 weeks’ notice, will be given.
In the event that the studio closes for more than 4 weeks during the year, concurrent or otherwise, alternative sessions will be offered.
In the event that unforeseen circumstances requires closure of the studio, where practical, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, but normally at least 2 weeks’ notice, will be given. In that event, alternative sessions will be offered.
In attending Pilates sessions, the client believes that such exercise would not be detrimental to his/her health. If in doubt, the client is advised to consult his/her Doctor or specialist.
Maritza Laing reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
